London Fabric Shop

Myself, Kerry and Amy went to London on Friday to Shepard's Bush Market and Camden to source the fabric we needed for the costumes in preparation for when we return to university on Monday. We thought it would be good if we find some places and make some contacts for cheaper materials, rather than just sourcing them online or in the university store. This is because there is a lot more choice, we can see exactly what we are buying, we are able to try and make deals with the sales people as we are buying a large amount and it was also a good experience for ourselves, as it meant we could have a bit more experience finding things for ourselves.

We came across a small stall in Shepard's bush market that had a good range of fabrics, and we were able to get the majority of the material that we needed from them. The guy also gave us a card that we could take with us and get a 10% discount if we were to use him again. This experience also allowed us to find better options than the some of the fabrics we had previously discussed.
