Designing for Maidstone Studios
Monday 13th March
On Monday we began to finalise some idea's. We came to the conclusion that we wanted to follow a more classy type of design, looking closer at the term 'Classic Hollywood' we identified that the art deco style was used a lot. Art deco uses a wide range of rich colours such as greens, purples, blues. These combined with gold have a much nicer feel about them. We decided that we would end the meeting here and each go away and come up with some more individual designs and then meet the next day and share what we had. Tuesday 14th March would then be dedicated to finalising design idea's and thinking about starting to prepare a model box ready for presenting. Below is the images that I decided to bring to the table for inspiration. From these I also made a colour palette, that we could potentially use. I
also wanted to think about the shape and space of the room and begin to start thinking what we could put in it. I made a mock up of the room and began editing the interior.
